Arby’s in Kelowna has permanently closed its doors

You’re going to have to get your cheap roast beef fix somewhere else.

The lone Arby’s location in Kelowna, at 16-2070 Harvey Ave., has quietly closed its doors for good.

A note on the door of the fast food chain explains that the final day of business for that particular Arby’s location was May 23, 2026.

“It has been an absolute privilege to serve this community. We have truly appreciated you being part of our community and want to thank you for your continuous support,” the note from management says.

“Whether you were stopping in for a quick lunch or making us a part of your family’s routine, it was a pleasure having you through our doors. Thank you again for the wonderful memories and letting us be a part of your lives for so many years.”

While it’s the end of the road for that particular Arby’s, the management team encouraged patrons to continue enjoying their Arby’s favourites at other locations around British Columbia.

That will be a bit harder for Central Okanagan residents, as the West Kelowna Arby’s has been shut down since a fire at the business in February 2026.

There has been no word on the future of that location and whether it will reopen at all, let alone anytime soon, which means the closest Arby’s is now over 150 kilometres away in Kamloops.
